… Close your eyes… and imagine. A night before History. The silence, the cold… and the smell of rock. You move forward. Around you, everything is dark… except for a flame. The fire dances. It illuminates the stone. It animates it. A torch flickers. A hand traces… a horse, a bison, a dream.
Sarlat, a Dream of Stones…
Here was born the vocation of the Périgord: to make memory out of matter, and words out of light.
In the enchanting setting of the “Jardin des Enfeus”, the walls light up to bring the history of Périgord back to life.
From the dawn of time to the frescoes of Lascaux, from troubadours to humanist thinkers, from wars to restored peace, Sarlat reveals all its historical and cultural richness. We discover its ties with the kings of France, the free thinking of Étienne de La Boétie, and the region’s deep attachment to its traditions, such as that of the black truffle.
The show also celebrates the natural and artistic wonders of the Sarlat region, from the hanging gardens to the founding rivers, to the contemporary doors of Jean Nouvel.
“Sarlat, Lights of the Périgord” is a visual and audio odyssey, a spectacular journey into the heart of Sarlat’s soul and the landscapes of the Périgord Noir. Through striking 3D effects, stone becomes a cave, a river, foliage, a manuscript, or a Renaissance façade.

… first worked as a music producer and then as a cultural director before devoting himself to creating video mapping and lighting tours. A specialist in heritage animation, he is regularly invited as an artistic director and screenwriter to create memorial or biographical shows.

… specializes in the production of graphic and video content for digital shows. He collaborates with production companies and local authorities to create innovative and unique immersive and collaborative experiences.
